This month’s Sci-Fi Flicks and Facts at the Anchorage Museum, watch the 1960 sci-fi classic film “Atom Age Vampire,” then enjoy an informal conversation about radiation in medical treatments with Diana Wilson, Southcentral Foundation physician assistant.

The fun starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 6. This event is FREE and open to the public.

National Novel Writing Month – the annual challenge to write a 50,000 novel in 30 days. Are you ready to embrace the madness?

Loussac Library will be hosting write-ins for National Novel Writing participants each Wednesday at in November at 6 p.m. Come meet your word quota in the company of those that understand.

A limited number of laptops (and outlets) will be available.

Day of the Dead holiday is the gathering of family and friends around an altar honoring the deceased, to pray for as well as to remember friends and family members who have died.
