Hospice of Anchorage is seeking caring and compassionate volunteers this holiday season to help out at Hospice of Anchorage’s Remembrance Tree displayed in the 5th Avenue Mall.

Ayea Teens Rock is having a get together Saturday, November 22 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 921 W 6th Ave. Learn about climate change, how it is affecting Alaska, and what we can do about it. Young people are leading the fight against climate change!

The Student Conservation Association is looking for teens to join their Alaska Conservation Crews this summer. Alaska students age 15-19 spend part of their summer hiking and camping, completing conservation projects and learning leadership skills.

Calling all teen film makers!

As part of the Anchorage International Film Festival, Bear Tooth and Alaska Teen Media Institute will host the “After School Special” Dec. 11, 2014! They’ll screen films directed and produced by Alaska teens!

This is an opportunity for youth filmmakers to show off their work and a chance for Anchorage to see what they have produced!

Anchorage-area youth (ages 12 to 20) may submit their films for the screening!
