Design a poster for the Governor’s Office and enter to win an ice cream party for your class.

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness and Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness months, all Alaska youth are invited to engage in creating a positive message about respect and healthy relationships.

The poster theme is “Respect: Lead the Way.” The deadline is December 13th.

If you’re interested in being an activist for youth tobacco control, apply for the Youth Activism Fellowship Program from the American Legacy Foundation.

Through this 18-month leadership program, you can develop into young adult leaders committed to making your communities healthier through tobacco control. The fellowship includes training and technical assistance that helps advance local projects and national initiatives. They also provide annual opportunities for youth to educate lawmakers about tobacco control efforts in their communities.
