Boys & Girls Clubs – Alaska need volunteers to hand out candy at Trick or Treat Town Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 & 26, at the Alaska Communications Garage. Fall is upon us like a Zombie chase and the Alaska Experience Theatre is ready! Join them for a Halloween Film Extravaganza where family friendly meets scary and strange. Every week in October they will be showing Halloween fun films. Oct. 11 is Young Frankenstein. Get your Johnny Depp on with Edward Scissorhands Oct. 18, and get silly with Wallace and Gromit’s The Curse of the Were-Rabbit Oct. 26. Tickets are $8.50 per film and they all start at 7 p.m. Seating is limited so call 272-9076 to pre-purchase your tickets.

Oct. 10 is International Observe the Moon Night and the Anchorage Public Library wants to celebrate with you! Head to the Wilda Marston Theater at the Z.J. Loussac Public Library this Thursday from 6:30-8:30 for moon-related activities and a snack, then head outside to watch the moon in all its glory!
