Join University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension for an afternoon of service at the Extension Office in Anchorage and volunteer to help create pillowcases for Anchorage-area foster kids. No sewing experience necessary! Past years have seen 75+ people gather to create more than 300 pillowcases at a time. Bring friends and family, stay one hour or all day, Saturday, Jan. 18 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
