US Tennis Association’s Pacific Northwest section is bringing two new summer tennis programs to Anchorage. No experience necessary for either program.

Family Friendly Tennis takes place in a high-energy, music-filled environment where families learn tennis skills from USTA-trained instructors.

Work alongside field organizers and learn skills in recruiting, training and maintaining a volunteer base that will educate, register and turn out voters on Election Day. Class credit can be made available.

Come learn about bear behavior and how to recreate safely in bear country. Try out your new skills with inert bear spray practice. This event is FREE and open to the public. Workshop is from 7-8 p.m.
