It’s almost time for the Cardboard Boat Regatta! But first, get secret tips and techniques for building your own streamlined vessel to enter in the contest July 26th. Head to Fairview Rec Center Monday, July 7, from 5-7 p.m. Cost to attend is $10.

Skateboarders, inline skaters, rollerskaters and scooterers — roll on over to Spenard Recreation Center Skate Park for an afternoon of fun, July 11 at 3 p.m. There will be clinics and competitions. Awards will be give out in events such as dual slalom, freestyle, and other events. Cost is $10 to participate.
