The Snack Shack got a paint job and the volunteers are excited to show off the improved space. Join the Anchorage Community Land Trust, Mt. View Lions Club, American Legion, and kids and families for a BBQ followed by a free baseball clinic for kids, Thursday, July 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Celebrate one of Alaska’s most valuable resources at the Salmon Daze festival Saturday, July 19 from noon-6 p.m. at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center.

Salmon related organizations, local Alaska artists, food carts and more will be in the Anchorage Museum courtyard. Learn about ways salmon impact Alaska! Admission to the outdoor event is free!

Take part in an Inupiat language intensive for FREE July 18-20 at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. All ages are welcome to attend. Classes will run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day.
