Plant a tree in honor of the Lorax! Municipality of Anchorage Parks and Recreation will plant white spruce seedlings Wednesday, August 13 in Russian Jack Springs Park starting at 6 p.m. White spruce trees are native to Southcentral Alaska and provide great habitat for birds and other animals. Bring your shovel! Water and snacks will be provided.

Hey Minecraft fans! Virtually build the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center one block at a time with Minecraft. Bring your own charged laptop with your Minecraft account loaded and ready to go Wednesday, August 13.
