Earn extra cash by becoming an awesome babysitter. Spenard Recreation Center is offering a babysitting class October 17 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. for youth ages 11-15. This class will provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. Registration cost is $65. Do you like the History Channel, or the show “Bones?” Do you have an interest in sociology or psychology? The Arc of Anchorage will be hosting Rhianna C. Rogers, Ph.D., RPA., a professional archaeologist from the State University of New York Friday, September 26 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
