Make sure you have the tools and skills you need so you’ll know how to respond in an emergency situation.This course is free thanks to support from the Alaska Department of Public Safety. The Alaska Outdoors host easy to moderate social hikes, every Monday and Thursday, all year, throughout Anchorage. Monday hikes are designed for hiking beginners and families with children, on established wide and mostly flat trail about 3.5-4.5 miles in 1.5 hours. Join the Alaska Kennel Club and Tanana Valley Kennel Club on March 26 and 27 at the Egan Center for two All Breed Dog shows. The Class judging begins at 9am, followed by Group judging at 2:45, with Best In Show immediately following Group judging. You can visit the vendors, see a large variety of breeds, speak with the owners/handlers and learn about the sport of dog showing and maybe find the perfect breed for your family pet. Come and Enjoy—but remember to leave your pets at home!!
