Every Sunday the AJW Student Jazz Ensembles will be hosting a weekly 4-6 p.m. Community Jazz Jam session at the Lofts Hotel Music Cafe. All middle and high school, college age instrumentalists and vocalists, and adults are invited to participate.

There is a keyboard, guitar & bass amp, a PA system, and drums there for the rhythm section players. Other instrumentalists bring your instruments and real books and have fun jamming on Jazz, Blues, Latin, and Funk songs. Admission is free so please invite your friends to come jam or listen to some great jazz served up by AJW Student Ensembles and surprise guest jammers!

Do you know a grieving family who could benefit from Camp Erin? Camp Erin is an annual weekend grief support camp for children and teens, ages 6 – 17 years. This year, the overnight camp will be held on September 23, 24, and 25, 2016, at the Birchwood Camp in Chugiak. The camp is a blend of traditional camp fun and grief activities, led by trained volunteers and professional staff.
