Want to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow? Instructors from the Northwest Archers club will be offering their expertise Saturday mornings at the Kincaid Archery Range. Northwest Archers will supply equipment for your use. All skill levels welcome. Parents must accompany children. If the weather is rainy, class will meet in wax bunker at Kincaid. No classes on June 11th, July 2nd, and July 16th.

POTTER MARSH BIRD WALKS will be held on

POTTER MARSH BIRD WALKS will be held on Saturdays from 8-10am and Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm on the Potter Marsh boardwalk, Mile 117 along the Seward Highway. These will be guided leisurely walks on the Potter Marsh boardwalk and nearby trails to identify and learn about the area’s wildlife. This family-friendly event is free and is for the beginning birder as well as those that know their way around a bird’s wing. Binoculars are available for loan (no charge) and spotting scopes and guide books will also be available. Meet your guide at the boardwalk entrance kiosk at Potter Marsh.
