Are you a young peacemaker? Apply for the Peace First Prize and you could be eligible to win a $25,000 scholarship!

The Peace First Prize recognizes impressive young people for meaningful peacemaking work that creates lasting good in a community, neighborhood or school. It is open to young people between the ages of 8 and 22 and will be awarded to five young leaders who have demonstrated compassion, courage and the power to create collaborative change. Winners will each receive $25,000 and participate in a two-year Peace First Fellowship to support their development as leaders and guide them in furthering their peacemaking work.

East High’s “One-Acts of Steel”

 

Don’t miss East High Drama’s “ONE-ACTS of STEEL” — an evening of six one-acts, including some great comedy sketches, terrific drama, suspense and even a bit of romance. This is a great evening for the entire family. The shows run Thursday – Saturday, November 14, 15, and 16, at 7 p.m. and tickets are $5 at the door.  Performances are in the East High Theatre.
