These volunteers help museum visitors engage with exhibits by leading presentations, answering questions, and helping with day-to-day operations in the Imaginarium Discovery Center. Join University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension for an afternoon of service at the Extension Office in Anchorage and volunteer to help create pillowcases for Anchorage-area foster kids. No sewing experience necessary! Past years have seen 75+ people gather to create more than 300 pillowcases at a time. Bring friends and family, stay one hour or all day, Saturday, Jan. 18 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
