Calling all gardeners! Alaska Community Action on Toxics is seeking volunteers this summer for their new Yarducopia community gardening program. Learn gardening skills by building, planting and maintaining a garden in a homeowner’s yard. Meet weekly at the garden for mini gardening classes and spend two hours a week maintaining the garden.

Share with the homeowner in the delicious produce harvest and donate 10% to a family in need.

What a great way to learn a valuable life skill and to interact positively with your community.

To sign up, call GeorgeAnne at 222-7714 or email garden@akaction.org.
