Anchorage Guerrilla Knitters needs volunteers to help dress the trees outside the Anchorage Museum for their first friday event February 6. Knitters and crocheters from all over Anchorage have produced dozens of colorful pieces to serve as “tree sweaters.” Beginning at noon, they need volunteers to help attach them to the trees. It’s easy; no experience necessary and you will be part of making public art!

To volunteer, just show up outside the Museum Friday, February 6 after noon or email cloudy@acsalaska.net for more information.

Come learn how to complete the scholarship application on UAOnline, write effective scholarship essays and navigate the scholarship website. Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol is hosting its 6th Annual Drug and Alcohol Free Community Super Bowl Party February 1 from 2-6 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Clubs Northeast Community Development Center.
