Every Tuesday this summer is the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center’s Lunch on the Lawn. Eat your lunch on the museum’s lawn from noon to 1:30 p.m. and enjoy a variety of different activities and entertainment each week, weather permitting. Tomorrow is the first day! It’s FREE!

Plant trees in honor of the Lorax Tuesday, May 20 at the Lidia Selkregg Chalet. Participants can adopt their trees for the summer and bring them in August to be planted. They will plant white spruce seedlings, which are native to Southcentral Alaska and provide great habitat for birds and other animals. Register by calling 343-6992.

Calling all hackers! Don’t miss this year’s Alaska Hackathon May 17 and 18 at The Boardroom. Hacking within a community helps projects and people succeed and in turn we are helping our community succeed. All skill levels welcome, all you need is a willingness to lend a hand to better our community.
