Every Tuesday this summer is the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center’s Lunch on the Lawn. Eat your lunch on the museum’s lawn from noon to 1:30 p.m. and enjoy a variety of different activities and entertainment each week, weather permitting. Tomorrow is the first day! It’s FREE!
Don’t have a car? Take the bus! Anchorage People Mover is excited to continue its “Youth Ride Free on Thursdays” summer ridership program. Youth ages 5-18 can ride People Mover for free every Thursday beginning May 22 through August 14.

Plant trees in honor of the Lorax Tuesday, May 20 at the Lidia Selkregg Chalet. Participants can adopt their trees for the summer and bring them in August to be planted. They will plant white spruce seedlings, which are native to Southcentral Alaska and provide great habitat for birds and other animals. Register by calling 343-6992.
