Get ready for a skills clinic to make you a true baller! Head to the Spenard Rec Center Thursday, February 19 and learn techniques to improve your shooting, ball handling and footwork will help you to become a better all around offensive basketball player. Defensive skills and rebounding will also be taught; overall conditioning drills will help you excel on the court as a player and a teammate. This clinic will be from 1-4:30 p.m., and it is for both boys and girls between grades 4 and 12, for only $20 per participant!

Anchorage youth age 11-15, put that in-service day to good use February 20 and register for UAA Continuing Education Department’s Babysitter Training Class. You’ll learn leadership skills, first aid, home safety, how to develop a babysitting business, how to choose age-appropriate activities and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. Taught by American Red Cross of Alaska.
