The Light Brigade is looking for volunteers for next week. Fun tasks and roles are available to help the “Follow The Light” installation debuting in Elderberry Park on the Solstice. Alaska Military Youth Academy ~ AMYA is accepting applicants. To qualify you must be between the ages of 16 and 18. You must be in need of your high school education; either not enrolled in high school or a GED program or at risk of not graduating with your peers. If you have your GED or HS diploma you are not eligible.
You must attend an orientation session to apply. The next orientation will be held at the Loussac Library December 15 at 6 p.m.
