Direction Alaska is putting on Youth Network Nights at the Mountain View Boys Club in Anchorage Alaska every other Friday.
The purpose of these events is to provide a place for Anchorage’s youth to network and have a good time in a safe environment.

What’s Operation R.A.M.E.N.? It’s a free resource fair May 14 for youth to learn about Responsibility, Adaptability, Mentoring, and Employment Needs. Come out and network at the No Fear of Success Youth Network Night April 26 from 7-11 p.m. at the Anchorage City Limits Lofts. N.F.O.S. Nights help you gain networking skills and connect with others. There is no cover charge and food will be provided. Highland Tech’s Guiding Words Community Partnership youth group will be there to share information about their program. There will be door prizes too!
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a year-long program that teaches middle and high school students how to start and run their own REAL businesses.
If you are creative, innovative, determined, enthusiastic and committed to your community and family, apply for the YEA program. Prior experience in business is not required.
YEA guides students through the process of starting and running a legitimate business or social movement over the course of a full academic year.

Looking for a fun summer activity? Join Camp Fire Alaska’s Teen Treks and navigate the Alaska wilderness! The adventure starts on camp and travels off-site as teens learn and develop outdoor and leadership skills. Work as a team to travel through the back country, cook over a campfire, sleep in tents and face challenges cooperatively. The program cost is $395. Scholarships may be available.
