Calling all juniors and seniors interested in a great summer job! The Alaska Railroad Tour Guide Training program is an after-school course held at King Career Center. Participants get an Alaska Studies credit and have the chance to work as a tour guide over the summer. The deadline to apply is Dec. 20!

If you love the outdoors and are between the ages of 17 and 20 you can apply to be a youth crew member the Alaska Service Corps youth program. Crew members complete conservation projects, recreational development projects and safety improvements on public lands throughout the state.

The Alaska Service Corps Youth Program empowers individuals to foster personal and professional development through hands-on learning in Alaska.

This is a summer position based in Juneau where students earn $1,468 in educational funds and a $900-a-month living stipend.
