Service High School’s SHS Biomedical Career Academy is having a student achievement showcase, Saturday, April 26 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Service High gym. Learn about medical science exploration, neuroscience, genetic engineering and more. There will be hands-on demonstrations and activities for all ages.

If you are creative, innovative, determined, enthusiastic and committed to your community and family, apply for the YEA program. Prior experience in business is not required.
YEA guides students through the process of starting and running a legitimate business or social movement over the course of a full academic year.

Looking for a fun summer activity? Join Camp Fire Alaska’s Teen Treks and navigate the Alaska wilderness! The adventure starts on camp and travels off-site as teens learn and develop outdoor and leadership skills. Work as a team to travel through the back country, cook over a campfire, sleep in tents and face challenges cooperatively. The program cost is $395. Scholarships may be available.
