Come defend your right to read! Celebrate Banned Books Week at Anchorage Public Library’s Teens Read Out! Anchorage students along with local notable adults will read selections of banned and challenged books in celebration of our First Amendment rights this Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 5-7:30 p.m.

Join Scared Scriptless Improv, Alaska’s longest running improv troupe, for a 6-week intro to improv course. They’ll talk about the fundamentals of improvisational comedy and play some of their most popular on stage games. All ages and senses of humor are welcome! It’s $80 for the course, which starts Sept. 20 from 7-9 at the Snow Goose Theater.
