Tonight at Anchorage Community Works! ALL AGES Battle to Warped Tour starts at 7 p.m. Bands will compete for a spot on the Washington and Oregon legs of the tour, $10.
Free concert! East High School’s Swing Choir’s end-of-the-year concert is Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at the East High Auditorium. Come hear some of Anchorage’s most outstanding high school vocalists, including 2013 American Idol Top 10 Women’s Finalist, Adriana Latonio. Admission is FREE but donations are gladly accepted.
Help support autism research and rock out at the same time! Anchorage Rocks for Autism 2014 is holding an all-ages show Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at Anchorage Community Works. The show features Thunderfish, Ships Without Harbor, Kill Theory, Noise Brigade, and more. $5 cover. All proceeds go to Autism Society of Alaska.
The band Indigenous will perform in concert this Friday, March 28 at the Dena’ina Center. Opening acts include Marc Brown and the Blues Crews, Moccasin Stompers, Butchie Eastman and Antoine Edwards and more. After the concert, stay for the inaugural Ida’ina Hip Hop Contest. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Make this Valentine’s Day the funniest one yet! Baltimore comedian Mike E. Winfield will bring you lots of laughs Friday, Feb. 14 at the UAA Student Union Den. He recently became a regular on NBC’s “The Office.”
