Play Dungeons and Dragons at Bosco’s Comics Cards & Games every Thursday at 6 p.m. As you defeat enemies, solve puzzles, finish quests, and perform heroic deeds, you’ll earn Renown Points that you can use to get exclusive rewards. Each session only takes 1-2 hours to play, so it’s easy to fit your game in after school or work. And each week there’s a new and exciting challenge. Jump in anytime! All you need is dice. Head to the Mountain View Library for LEGO club on the fourth Saturday of every month from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Try to complete the monthly build challenge or just free build to test your creativity. The best creations will be displayed inside the library. Snacks provided.

Are you looking for a way to play Magic the Gathering while meeting new friends and winning cool foil prize cards? Head to Friday Night Magic at Bosco’s Comics Cards & Games every week at 6:30 p.m. FNM is designed to bring casual players together to play for fun and foil prize cards. FNM is designed to be a less-competitive event. Try it out and discover why Friday night is the best night of the week! You are welcome to come to play without joining the tournament. It’s $7 to participate.

Beat boredom and check out the summer teen video workshops at Anchorage Public Library, brought to you by the awesome folks at Alaska Teen Media Institute. Video club meets Tuesdays 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Loussac, Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m. at the Muldoon branch and Fridays 4-6 p.m. at the Mt. View branch.

Beginners to experts are welcome. Learn to frame a shot, add a sound track and edit a scene. There’s something new to do at every workshop!

FosterClub, the national network for young people in foster care, is looking for youth to join the FosterClub All-Star Team this summer. These teams will gain leadership and public speaking training and then travel to youth conferences to inspire their younger peers still in the foster care system.

The deadline for Alaska has been extended to March 31. If accepted all your expenses will be paid for and you’ll receive an end-of-summer stipend.
