UAA is presenting the Radical Reels Tour Friday, September 26 at 7 p.m. It’s a presentation of the best adrenaline packed films entered into Banff Mountain film and the Book Festival competition. The tour visits more than 65 locations across the US and Canada. Don’t miss out!

Aren’t these little guys the cutest? The Arc of Anchorage is bringing Denn Rodriguez, the artist and designer of the Octokitty brand, for a workshop Wednesday, September 24 at 6 p.m. Workshop is open to the public.

For only $10, make your own Mini Mr. Fancy Pants plush! Payment is at the door. RSVP is required.

Workshop is approximately 3 hours, supplies and snacks will be provided.

If you’re a Beatles’ fan then check out the Midnight Sons A Cappella Chorus this Saturday at the West High Auditorium as they deliver Beatles classics in four-part harmony. Head to Midnight Sun Cafe’ for Todd List Photography’s first Friday event at 5 p.m. Todd is an Aurora Borealis chaser and journeys as far north as Chena and as far east as Lake Louise to capture the beauty of the northern skies.

He’ll be joined by the band Tanana Rafters.
