Head to Namaste North Yoga Studio for First Friday, September 6, from 5-8 p.m. where they will feature Shawn Lyons, a classical guitarist and an avid hiker who has hiked remote parts here in Alaska and in many other states in the US, Mexico, Argentina, India, Nepal, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Africa. First Friday is upon us! That means free art and sometimes food! Cake Studio presents the unique and popular steel artwork of Andy Urion. Andy hand cuts stainless steel into specific shapes and then applies techniques that give colors and other distinct properties to the steel. While taking in the show you can enjoy the sweet tastes of Cake Studio’s coffee, chocolates and pastries this Friday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m.
