Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity and have an interest in the Alaska court system? Become a part of Anchorage Youth Court (AYC).
AYC has a new member class starting Saturday, April 2. This is a great volunteer opportunity for students in Anchorage in grades 7 – 12 between the ages of 12-18.
Youth interested in AYC must take the class before they begin volunteering. In this class students will learn about the court system and how to prepare to handle AYC court cases. After they take the class and become a new member, they can volunteer their time in trainings, adjudicating cases for their peers, and other volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
