Cellist Zuill Bailey returns to Anchorage with pianist Lara Downes and guitarist David Leisner for the 2013 Alaska Airlines Autumn Classics this Friday, Sept. 6. The program features Downes with works from her recent project, “Exiles’ Cafe,” a collection of solos written by composers who spent some portion of their lives in exile from their homeland, including Chopin, Rachmaninov, and Bartok. Leisner and Bailey will perform Falla and Schubert. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at APU’s Grant Hall. Tickets start at $24.50. The Autumn Classics runs this weekend and next weekend with different performers each night.
