Pride Foundation- LGBTQ Community Foundation provides post-secondary educational scholarships to current and future leaders in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and straight ally community from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Fill out just one application and you can be eligible for 50 scholarships. Most scholarships are available for straight ally or questioning students as well as student of LGBTQ parents. All promote leadership and diversity in the LGBTQ community.

Young Emerging Artists, Inc. is sponsoring the Alaska Region of this year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Students in grades 7-12 can apply in 28 categories of art and writing for their chance to earn scholarships and have their works exhibited or published. Students can earn scholarships from $250 a semester to full college tuition!
Submit anything creative from jewelry to video game design to sculpture. Submissions are judged on originality, technical skill and the emergence of a personal vision or voice.

If you love the outdoors and are between the ages of 17 and 20 you can apply to be a youth crew member the Alaska Service Corps youth program. Crew members complete conservation projects, recreational development projects and safety improvements on public lands throughout the state.
The Alaska Service Corps Youth Program empowers individuals to foster personal and professional development through hands-on learning in Alaska.
This is a summer position based in Juneau where students earn $1,468 in educational funds and a $900-a-month living stipend.
