UAA is wrapping up their week of Winterfest with a closing party Saturday, March 1 from 4-6 outside the Cuddy Quad. Build a winter landscape with snow sculptures and forts, ice lanterns, miniature snowmen and much more.
There will be live music and warm food, along with innovative art installations featuring snow, ice and fire. The after-party is 10-11 p.m. Feel free to bring an instrument, sit around the bonfire and buy some late night snacks from food vendors.
Astronomy professor Travis Rector will be on-site to talk about the complexities and beauty of snow. Look at snow in a new way through microscopes, snow goggles and other languages.
This awesome event is FREE and open to the public!
