Que Pasa? – Anchorage

RAHI – Rural Alaska Honors Institute is now accepting applications for the 2014 summer program.

RAHI is a six-week academic summer program for rural and Alaska Native students. The program provides high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the college experience by living in the dorms at University of Alaska Fairbanks and taking college level courses.

Students earn 8 -10 credits and learn first-hand what it takes to succeed in college. Courses include English, College Algebra, Business, Chemistry, Biology, Archaeology, Process Technology, Alaska Native Dance and Karate.

There is no cost for selected students and travel costs are included! The dates are May 27 to July 11, 2014.
